Agents perform programmatic, symbolic and formal responses to their physical surroundings. These physical adaptations are closely related to existing social, political, economical but also regulatory conditions. Participants of ‘the responsive city’ masterclasses will map these responses in Almere-Haven and Gulensu. On-site collected information will be based on inhabitant interviews, visual [photo and video] documentation, and observations. This collected knowledge will be shared with a broader public through open source media broadcasts in google earth, flickr, youtube.
